We officially dropped them off in the mail. YIPEE! Now, I need to start actually wedding planning. Don't panic yet. We've got colors and a theme. Everything else will come with time.
Look what Chad brought home to baby today!! I screamed as soon as I stepped in the kitchen! I want a nice camera so I can take pictures of all of these, they are SOOO great. I am going to make him take this up as a hobby once he becomes a dentist. Chad is soooo good with his hands, and such a perfectionist, that ALL of his stuff comes out AMAZING. Chad said I could keep my favorites, and the rest he's going to give to family for Christmas. All of them are my favorites. Not sure how thats gunna work out. GOOD JOB CHAD!!
Call me 14, its fine. I'm in LOVE with Taylor Swift. She's a rockstar! I love her guitar, her hair, her voice, her christmas c.d, this video and its nail art inspiration:
I did this while watching a movie one night....paint chips off me so easy, so it didn't stay long. But it was cute for a couple days!
Chad is definitely my better half. Definitely the smarter half too. Our conversation tonight after work:
Me: Jeeze, it's sooooo dark outside, its only 630 and its black! Chad: Ya, that does suck. Bright early, dark early. Me: You know whats crazy?....One day it was light, and the next day it was sooo dark! Daylight Savings day is crazy! I can't believe they have it pinpointed to the one day it gets dark early. Chad: Uh, how about you think about what your saying right now. Me: It started getting darker earlier the day we set our clocks ba.....AHAHAHAHAHA!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!
...conversation about all the people ive said "isn't it crazy how in 1 day it can dark sooooo much earlier??.....and how they must think i'm a tard.
Me: I don't like daylight savings. I wonder if theres a group of anti-day light savings people. Chad: Ya. Arizona. Me: SHUT UP, NO WAY!!
**second wave of uncontrollable laughter**
I seriously think I'm loosing my mind somedays. I'm sooo thankful I have a man that thinks things through, and who knows all the things about time. I don't get it. Daylights Savings time, time zones. I don't know what I'd do without him. ::sigh::
I love yahoo, and that is no exaggeration. I read all 40+ highlighted articles they have daily. I read one today and literally stood from my desk and said “NO FREAKIN WAY!!” BACKUP: About 2 ½ years ago, I worked at an online bookstore, listing books. Loved it – for awhile. The harder part of the job (easy part consisted of me reading about a book, researching its value, and sitting in a comfy chair listing them on various websites.) I helped organize and sort through books to find value, quality, etc. That is why our bookshelves look like this: (And yes, that up close picture shows that they are shelved 2 back.)
While sorting through the books, If one wasn’t of extreme worth, I’d pull it out to take home. I’ve got books to read for forever. I love it. No-time to read them now, but hopefully soon enough. Anyways. I found this book called “Between a Rock and a Hard Place.” I grabbed it because it looked interesting and ended up reading it some time later. Loved it. INCREDIBLE story that absolutely blew me away. The book also has pictures ::shivers::, that were a little intense for my liking.
TODAY: I see that the very hansome actor James Franco is actually the lead in a new movie called “127 hours”, a movie about this true story. I am SO EXCITED to see it, I know it is going to be amazing!
Heres the trailer:
Crazy huh? I really recommend reading the book, if your close you can borrow mine. Its incredible. I don’t think I’d ever have enough courage to do what he did. Oh, the crazy things we do for life.
WOOHOO!! I love the summer. But I also LOVE the fall. The beautiful dark rich colors, the smell of cinammon and peppermint. Long hot baths, pea coats, boots, scarfs, long sleeves, cold pink noses, hot cocoa, hand warmers, falling leaves, Thanksgiving, Garth Brooks Christmas C.D :), and then Christmas! This is my last single Christmas! YAY! Next year we will be married! I only have to make it through this Fall, Winter and then in the Spring we're hitched! So, I am excited for US, we've got so many things to be thankful for. We both have good jobs, Chads schooling, our cars are still working (although inches from breaking down), we have food to eat, my family is coming into town for Christmas, Chads going to see his family for Christmas (OFFICIALLY THE LAST CHRISTMAS WE ARE ALLOWED TO BE APART!!) We are wedding planning, Chads horrible, stressful classes are soon to be over...Life is just great.
Side note. I made myself promise that I would do my best to keep my skinny Chad full of food. His 14 hours a day at school and 5 hours of studying have seriously stripped his warm layer and have pulled the pounds right off him. SO, after watching Julie & Julia (recommend you add it to the Netflix) I got inspiration to cook! So I made a big shopping list and went and bought stuff for quick breakfasts, snacks for lunch, and big stuff for dinner and dessert. I made a Chicken with Cranberry Sauce tonight:
I'm not the biggest cook - but it is something I am going to work on. Chad jokes that my success as a wife will be measured in the way I cook. (CRAP!) So, I'm practicing now before its officially official :)
And here is a CUTE video of how I will clean the table after meals and sing to Chad:
