I should have never started ‘wedding’ blogging, because now I feel like I need to make my wedding some perfectly put together fairytale DIY wedding put together piece by intricate piece from all the stupid blogs I follow. I am going to delete them all and add a list of craft blogs. That’s what I want to do, create more things I can shove in the tiny spaces of our new home. (Confession: I am a hoarder in training, I love stuff.) I feel the stress building up and suffocating me as the wedding date drawers near. I feel frantic while looking on Etsy and Ebay for the last few things, that, in the end, won’t even matter. I wish I just had an ulimited budget, and millions of vendors that could create the “perfect” wedding for me, but HEY, my wedding is going to be perfect, because I am about to marry the man of my dreams. What more should I be asking for?

She will probably punch me, BUT:

I just have to say this OUT LOUD, on my blog, because she doesn't have a blog and can't seek revenge, and because I will never be able to thank her enough: I LOVE MY MAID OF HONOR. I am so thankful for Kari and the influence she has on me. I seriously don't know what I would do without her. Kari is one of the greatest people I have ever met in my life, and I seriously count down the minutes until I get to just squeeze her every time she plans a visit. Kari is that bright, happy person that walks into a room and literally makes the room a better place to be. People gravitate towards her, and lucky for me, am her bestest friend! I know that I can tell Kari, ANYTHING and she will not judge, or offer advice unless asked. (She gives REALLLYY good advice, so I always ask). Kari and I have built such an amazing friendship and I seriously thank the lord for her being such an amazing part in my life. It was a NO- BRAINER who my MaidOfHonor would be as SOON as Chad asked me to be his wife. I know that I can conquer the world with Chad and Kari by my side. I am beyond thrilled that life has allowed for Kari to accompany us on our Destination Wedding Cruise, and that I get to spend every minute with my best friend. I love Kari and every single move she makes, she has the most beautiful laugh, gorgeous smile, open heart, kind voice, and an eagerness to be such a good person. She truly inspires me. I love this gal with my entire heart and cannot wait to jump and SCREAM when I see her in 6 days (I will probably cry too!) The world is a better place because of this girl and I love her so very much. Kari Harlow, thank you for being the BEST Maid of Honor a girl could ask for. I love you.

13 days to go!

I cannot believe how close we are! We set sail in 13 days, and Chad and I will be getting married in Cabo in 15! I have been doing a lot of my wedding shopping via the internet because I am very limited on time to actually shop after work, school, etc. I have purchased, pretty much EVERYTHING via Etsy.com. I am in LOVE with this site....I found after a pretty extensive search for flowers, just the person to do our wedding flowers. They are silk so we get to keep them forever, and there exactly what I wanted. Heres a sneak preview:

Pretty cool huh?
Anyways...lots of planning left to do, last minute details to figure out. Anxiety starting to kick in!
xoxo

Goodbye Yellow Sub - Hello Red....thing.

I have yet to come up with a cool name for my new ride. The "yellow sub" was sooo fitting. My parents bought my 2004 yellow focus when we moved to California shortly after my 16th birthday. I took over payments after I turned 18, and ended up paying the thing off a year ago. It was so nice having something worth value in my name. 7 years later after original purchase the poor thing started falling apart, we weren't planning on putting a lot of money into it- but i was very scared to purchase a used "other person's problems" car...So, I kind of just drove it while it slowwwwly fell apart. Thankfully. I was in a small accident a couple months ago and I finally got some money out of it.

**PAUSE**

'Funny' story: The night of my accident while sitting at Urgent Care to make sure I didn't have a concussion from hitting my head..
Chad: SO, I'm like kind of physic...
Tausha: Ha- Oh ya baby?, how so?
Chad: Well this morning I was thinking of how perfect it would be if you got in an accident, not a bad one, but bad enough that we could get some money to get you a new car...
Tausha: (Jaw on ground) So this is all your fault.....
Chad: It was crazy because my phone rang in the middle of the day and I could hear your little sad voice saying, 'baby I got in an accident'...and then I picked up and you were crying and said, "Baby, I just got in an accident"
Tausha: Your fired Chad.

**End of silly story**

So, after being told my car was inches from death, I put in on Craigslist and 2 gentleman who repair cars for there 'job' purchased it. I pulled all my money together and went car shopping in Sacramento with Freddy....We ended up getting a Mini Cooper. It's not new, and it's got some miles on it...BUT, the thing drives like a champ (So I've been told, still learning the stick thing..) So, I'm happy. It gets way better gas mileage than the sub, and I'm excited that i have a car that starts and doesn't make horrible sounds like it could blow up at any point.

I had my heart set on getting a MazdaMiata because it has pretty much been my car of choice since like, ever. BUT, after price shopping, and test driving the Mini won. It's slowly growing on....slowly.

I am having another driving lesson with Chad tonight because I have been driving his automatic truck while he drives my Mini because the whole Manual thing gives me serious Anxiety. I thought this was funny - we took the car in to get the tires rotated....and look what was there, a car like my old one :( I miss you little sub.

Vampires Suck

I remember when I first saw the previews for this movie I was extremely offended and hurt that someone would make such a horrible movie. I wanted to personally call up Stephenie Meyer and round up the Twi-Hards to protest the release of this movie. It's been months - and yes, I added it to my Netflix when it first came out. (Secretly I wanted to watch it.) I wanted it tonight and almost peed my pants laughing the ENTIRE time. They did an excellent job - it was amazing. Any Twi-Hards out there, watch it if you haven't already!

Tausha loves Chad

Chad bought me bling, so I bought him a t.v. Bribery you ask? Possibly. But hey, it worked :) :)
